One massive difference between Yaran’s Lease for Life structure and an expiring lease agreement is capital growth over time, as depicted in the graph below.
You might think, it doesn’t matter because I may not be around in 20 years anyway. However, what if you want to move back to Australia or sell for any reason say after 5 or 10 years?
As the schematic below demonstrates, you would be miles better off with a Lease for Life property which has much better capital appreciation.
The graph above compares the value of a Yaran Lease for Life property with a typical Bali 20 year expiring lease property both at a starting value of A$249,000.
